Been looking to play Hell Unleashed mod. Can't find the required older version for the life of me. I've heard that original Diablo 2 is 1.00, LoD is 1.07 then I need to patch to 1.10. Is that correct? I need some hard elaborating from someone if possible. I have trekked through forums, google, youtube, you name it. No dice :(

Also, I found my original discs of D2+LoD, hoping to find a previous version. When it was installed it was version 1.12. Tried reverting to 1.09 or 1.10, couldn't, don't know if you can, don't know if it's possible. Please help! Thanks

edit: I have found multiple links around the internet to patch around 1.10 such as 1.11 revert to 1.10, 1.09 to 1.10 and such online, but can't find out how to start from 1.11, 1.07, 1.09 to get to 1.10. I may have found a way to revert 1.12 to 1.10 with my physical discs as 1.12 and a revert to 1.10 but in case it doesn't work other options would be great, haven't tried 1.12 to 1.10 yet. Blizzard has released patch 1.12 for Diablo 2 and along with it is a no-CD update. No longer will you have to insert a CD to play the eight year old RPG, better late than never. Patch 1.12 also resets the game's ladder. Here are more detailed patch notes from Blizz Planet:
Downloadable Installer Support
- If all required Diablo 2 '.MPQ' files are installed on the hard drive, the game will no longer require the CD to play.
For users that originally performed a 'Full Installation' and wish to run without the CD, all '.MPQ' files should be copied from the Diablo 2 CDs to the Diablo 2 directory. Most users will only need to copy D2Music.mpq from the Diablo 2 Play CD and/or D2xMusic.mpq from the Lord of Destruction CD. Mac users will need to copy these music files and rename them to 'Diablo II Music' and 'Diablo II Expansion Music' respectively.

Anyone who did not perform a 'Full Installation' will need to re-install from CD again to ultimately play without the CD. In this case, a 'Full Installation' is required, followed by file
copy step noted above.
