Falcom has listed new information for Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana which gives information on the day one patch and DLC. Patch 1.01 will add various features such as: Time Attack Mode – After beating the game you can play Time Attack Mode where you can freely battle against bosses. The update to address the file-sharing bug that Wanna is. You should bear in mind that this security patch which Microsoft has released for Windows Vista/XP/Server 2003/2008, is a one-off patch. We just received an email from NIS America with the following to say:
As you may have noticed during your playthrough, there were some technical issues involving text not displaying correctly. To clarify, regarding the recent text issues brought up in review copies of the game, please be aware that these were all known issues and there are three planned patches beginning Launch Day. These patches address these text issues as well as other issues. Unfortunately, the patches were not available at the time the review codes were sent out and thus, all previews reflect the game in its unpatched state.
Sucks that people will have to download patches for something like this.
Although, during our time playing the game, we only noticed a few instances of translation errors, simple things such as a character using “and” instead of “an”.
Bug Patch Vw
There were a few cases of just straight up gibberish and some Japanese text (cmon) in the game, but it doesn’t really hinder the experience or make the story confusing.
