Now according to d Software technical director John Carmack, a second patch for RAGE is coming soon, and it will add bicubic-upsample rendering routines to 'alleviate the blurry textures.'
In addition to this, it will also feature a option for controlling the level of texture detail. On Twitter, John Carmack said, 'We have a bicubic-upsample+detail texture option for the next PC patch that will help alleviate the blurry textures in Rage.'
